letter to self 2

hey, Elijah
i know that you’re fatigued by the amount of courage your heart demands you to have, pressure that your family relay upon you, expectations of how to show up in this world (read: your job, bank account, society). it’s been a while since you’ve woken up from a restful sleep and attended to activities that pleases your soul. that happens often when your obligations take the majority of your time and there doesn’t seem to be enough understanding to ground yourself to. is it a crime? is it self-sabotage? is it finally waking up to the realization that responsibilities need hands that are steady to ship one to safety or comfortability? whatever it is, i need you to remember to breathe, always. i just discovered that 27 symbolizes spiritual wisdom, transformation, and divine power – all the things that you silently ponder and pray about constantly. you know coincidence is a myth, because the way in which you’re reprogramming your mind to submerge in grace truly brings a refreshing perspective to how you’re willing to live your life. sure, it is still a beautiful mess. but you’re becoming an active participant in personal growth. i’m going to need you to step out of the shadows for a while and confront the heaviness and irregularities that the people and things of this world bring unto you. to move into an era of fulfillment you’ll need to activate all 27 bones of each hand and seize every opportunity that is aligned to you. to transition into a state of pure consciousness you have to submit all that you are and have to the Almighty and show up as a vessel willing to do the work. you have to attract bodies (literal and figurative) that will awaken your potential by expressing your grief, stripping off defenses to welcome joy, feel interconnected with the flow of life and love yourself enough to breathe lightly. i love you.
